So I never was into Harry Potter, after all these years of people trying to get me to read the books/watch the movies. I finally caved in and watched the first two… annnnd now I’m hooked. I honestly don’t know why I wasn’t into the series. I don’t get very attached to books at all, and when the movies came out, the advertising just screamed kid movie to me. Though there are several scenes that aren’t “kid movie” friendly, which If I had known that I would have been more attracted to the films. And I’m not trying to hate on “kid Movies” I just like having that feeling like something dynamic, or unexpected can happen. Just the feeling the characters are actually alive and things can impact and drastically change them
